I have an 06 Sti. I don't plan on going super low. 12-13 inches fender to center of wheel. Wheels are 18x8.5. Right now it's at about 14.5 inches. It was all I could do to get everything buttoned back up and height evened out all around before the alignment. I was hoping out of the box the coilovers would b equal in length. They measured the same on my bench but once on the car the passenger rear was a half inch lower than the drivers. Springs gotta settle? Idk we'll see

How'd it go for you?

Replaced my reverse bulbs with some ridiculously bright 62 smd bulbs

Then put the finishing touches on my rear cargo lighting. (Posting the DIY in the unique mods thread)

Replaced the broken tensioner and bolt for my AC compressor (I has AC after only a year )

And finally replaced my worn front brakes.
Today was a good day. Maybe tonight I'll tackle the TIC shifter linkage bushings.

EBay. I just picked the cheapest 7440 bulbs I could find shipped. I think they were like $7.86 shipped

Read 'em and weep boyz! Here is the latest log. Only feeling stronger. Even with it being hot, the car felt really good. This is still a third gear pull, 2k-7500k.

Question why do you log target boost but not actual? How do you know if your actually where your target boost is expected to be?

Manifold relative pressure (direct) (psi relative) is what the actual boost is. Just got a new revision, charging the laptop up a bit and then going for another log. I was told to loosen the mbc 1/10th of a turn. Hey whatever the tuner says.

For me, it's not just any piston and rods. It is a combo from 3MI, pistons rods and crank. Hopefully revving to 8.5-9k and making 500 hp.

That sounds like fun. I could go big hp with this motor as well but I need more low/midrange. I autocross alot and I need fast spool. I am happy with the way she is going now. I have been entering the numbers on the virtual dyno and they are around what I was expecting.

Just finished the TIC shifter linkage bushings. Haven't driven the car yet but there is basically no side to side slop any more, and shifts seem to be much crisper.

It was a little bit of a pain in the ass, but no where near as annoying as I know the motor mounts are going to be.

Motor mounts really aren't that bad. I was able to do mine without taking the u brace off and I have a 24 mm sway up there too.
