drove to/from delaware, had a sudden +2-3" in road height at about 50 mph felt like something came off/started to come loose, now i get a lurching feeling from the car when i stop sometimes. i want to redo the whole suspension/drivetrain of my car because im paranoid it's going to just give out on me for some reason.

took a flashlight under the car and peeked as much as i could, but nothing seems to be missing.

yesterday did my 90K driveline service. Swapped all the fluids (oil change too) and changed the air filter.

damn those drain plugs! Does anyone else have a bitch of a time getting them loose? Once I got em it was easy sailing but damn... I never expected to need the jack handle as extra leverage in addition to a 24" breaker bar.

Picked up a TXS Turbo back, continued working on my turbo rebuild, and replaced Gaedikus' busted ass rear endlinks.

Yeah they were jacked...

Had a little time to tinker in the garage yesterday..

Emergency release handle was ziptied on when I bought the car. I had 4 of the trim anchor/screw things (scientific name) from a Honda that worked almost perfectly. The holes in the trunk had to be drilled out slightly larger to allow the anchor to slip in. I still need to snag another one from the scrap yard and clean the others, but it looks a lot better.

The trunk lock was also missing the clip that keeps it from falling outward. I attempted to use a ziptie.. but that in no way shape, form or fashion held it in place.
I did how ever have some tie-wire so I made one to hold it in there for now!

It's a bit dirty inside of the trunk lid huh?

FYI Autozone sells those trim anchor screw things. They might fit a bit better because they come in different sizes, and are relatively cheap.

Yeah, but where is the fun in that?
I enjoy going to junkyards.. I'm like a kid in a candy store. Plus I have the crap sitting in my garage so I might as well use it instead of throw it away.

Thanks for the tip though!

EDIT: They fit through the plastic piece fine.. Subaru should of made them equal sizes.

The nut stripped off my ball joint on the way home. Barely made it to the driveway before the ball joint came out of the control arm.

Ordered a new ball joint from mach v, hopefully I can get it tomorrow or Thursday and it isn't a bitch to change like previous.
