I saw it all the time when I worked in Human Resources, you are seeing it in the news with people feeling entitled and it is obvious to me on the boards (not just NASIOC) when you meet people who are bullys on the boards and send you a PM blasing you when you even give them a warning but they can't carry a conversation or look you in the eyes at meets.

Respect and communication are the two main areas that I feel cause conflict.

My kids are growing up calling people Mr. and Mrs. and being disrespectful to my wife and I (and their elders) is a capital offense... and yes, sometimes you need to hit the reset button on the bottom of your kids.

That's how I was raised and I had nothing but respect and love for my Dad until the day he passed.

Yep, +1 here! Kids don't know what's respect is anymore nor do they know what being humble is.
Respect your elders.

13WHAM's Patrice Walsh spoke with Karen Wednesday afternoon.* Klein said the comment that hurt the most was when the kids said "you're so ugly your kid should kill themselves." Her son took his life 10 years ago.

well I'll be damned if the man isn't actually doing something about it. I'm actually impressed... (was it because my expectations were already abysmal?)

The problem is parents not whipping that ass when their kids get out of line.

I know me and my brothers walked a straight line, because we knew the leathery consequences...

Problem with kids these days is that most form of disciplinary action is considered child abuse. In addition to that we consider any outburst some kind of disorder. As an example, if the child can't sit still and is out of control he's ADD. What do they do these days? Oh yea give them some pills. Pills for everything. Diagnosed disorder for everything that makes a child, a child.

Don't even get me started on this generation of everyone is a winner and deserves a ribbon or prize even if you're last. If children aren't taught to strive to be the best, what hope is there for them in the future?

I think the worst punishment most parents give out nowadays is "no Xbox for the rest of the night"

WGMG:
a SWP Hatch Premium WITH NAV is incoming, along with most of the factory accessories I'd want.

AND

A OBP SEDAN Premium WITH NAV is also coming, basically the exact car I want in the first place.. Damn.

The NAV is overrated, sir. Plus you already have a Premium hatch in SWP... Whatever goodies it comes with you can get better in the aftermarket or off eBay for cheaper. The hatch been done had options.

Black sedan? Can't help you there, they're sexy, sir.

I hear you with the hatch, but it's the sedan that makes me the angriest.. It's exactly what I was shopping for when going for the WRX widebody.
But oh wells, I love what I have now

Subaru Nav is terrible. Buy a nice Garmin unit and put it in the window. Problem solved.

The Gods wanted you to have the 2012 hatch to tide you over until you could taste the glory of the new and improved 2014/2015 WRX/STI!

I'm pretty curious to see with they do with that model. My hatch will be paid in full by then, so getting an STi is going to be my goal at that point. Be it a STi, or a BRZ STi.
