I tend to run 10-12k between changes with no ill effects.

No kidding. Of course I was using the Amsoil branded extended life filter (which is no discontinued ) But did a couple UOA via Blackstone and came back nearly perfect after 10k and 14k.

At $21.42 per gallon, by your direction, it is cheap insurance. 130K + mileage. 6 MAJOR championshipsand counting…stock tranny, stock block, stock internals and stock turbo, ….still running strong.

Apparently, which I'm fine with I just wish it'd been brought to my attention. When we had our house and garage and I was willing and offered to do it, she insisted on going to jiffylube. Now that I am unable to do it myself, it's my responsibility...

Exactly. People can't even drive with no snow. I'd like my other two vehicles to survive before I leave Alaska.

WGMG:

5 straight days of sun.

Didn't even get that all summer. Figure now it wants to be sunny when it's cold out.

WGMG - Keyword spammers on Craigslist.

Just what the hell does an Camaro LS3 engine cover have to do with an STI?

Join me in taking a stand against these asshats and mark their posts as SPAM.

Keyword spammers?

Like when you put a bunch of crap at the end of your ad that has nothing to do with the car/parts being sold??

Like when I search "Evo" or "Evolution" and I see a bunch of craptastic Hondas?

Subarus are notorious for that crap too.

WGMG: Coming home to a cold house. Luckily it was only 45* in here when it's 0 outside. I'm ready for summer already.

WGMG: Samsung's new Smart TV line's AUX audio features... Or, featureless...

Picked up the brand new Smart LED TV from Samsung, and when using optical out, I can only get 5.1-7.1 when using only features/apps from the TV. Any other device hooked up to the TV ( regardless of composite, component, HDMI, etc ) will ONLY get PCM 2.1 max.
My audio receiver unfortunately doesn't utilize HDMI, otherwise I'd run it into it first, but it only uses component/optical for AUX input.

Boo... Guess I'm shopping for a new audio receiver soon... Maybe it's time for a soundbar (=

Save up for a mini-system that uses HDMI-you will never be happy with anything like a soundbar for full surround.
