WGMG: theiving little ****ers, whom call themselves "friends". My fiance shelly had a long time friend stop by today with her kids, she had some dudes meet her here. We were in the garage fixing her truck while she went out to "smoke". They leave and noticed my big ass piggie bank, my mac book pro, shellys jewelry box and a metal oakley case are gone. ONLY people here were them 3. Police report filed, btw.

To update, I found the serial number for my macbook pro. Also have a better description of the jewelry box. SOO, if anyone finds one of the items below listed on CL, please let me know or let the police know.

- 2010 MacBook Pro, 15.4", 2.66 Intel core duo i7, 4GB Ram, 500GB HD... Serial #730345S4AGW
- 6"x5"x2" cherry wood jewelery box with a stained glass center on the top. Had some cut garnets and other misc stuff in it.
- Oakley e-wire Vault
- ~3FT tall plastic beer bottle/bank (was ~ half full) with "Red Dog Brewing" labels on it.

Thanks, and keep an eye out. Mostly intersted in teh MBP and the jewelry box, but.. any hits can be helpful

Dear Chrysler:
I hate you. I hate your products, I hate your styling, I hate your poor quality and most of all the Sebring I'm driving untill my STI arrives from Japan.

Dear Mitsubishi: I hate you. I hate your products. I hate the fact that my POS Sebring has a Mitsubishi motor in it.

Dear Nasioc: If you see a broke ass black ghetto Sebring please don't drive behind me. It will end in your frustration when my POS Sebring with a Mitsubishi engine suddenly dies and you have to drive around me.

*note to self* never sell your working vehicle and borrow a broke ass vehicle to save money until your new vehicle arrives.

Have faith my brother and stand strong in the face of adversities. At least it wasn't as bad as last time.

He called me back. Nice older gentleman. I think he was taken aback at how much the lights cost when we talked on the phone so I showed him my receipt. We agreed on recompense and I now have an LED lightbar in the mail. Sometimes the universe works out in ways you don't expect. I guess having this happen so soon after getting hit n run made me wonder what I'd done wrong but it all worked out in the end.

Ask and ye shall receive.

How many here would do the right thing and leave a note?

I can say without hesitation that I'd leave a note at the very least. If I had the time I'd wait around and talk to the owner and own up to my mistake like a responsible grown man. That is my honest answer. Nobody should pay for my mistakes. Period.

When I was first getting my permit I was backing out of a spot in a parking garage, bumped a car's front bumper side orange reflector and broke it. My mom suggested leaving a note, but me being the teenage brat I was opted against it and just drove off. She wasn't happy with me, but I did not feel like being responsible.

I do regret not taking responsibility for that. I can say now, with certainty, that I would leave a note, though. Some years ago I backed my work van (full of show booth equipment, so poor visibility) into a truck's trailer hitch. It was a light bump and their hitch was fine, but it was dark, so just in case some unseen damage was there, I left my business card on their window. I never heard from them.

We'd all like to think that when the moment arrives we'd do the right thing, but there's really no substitute for experience.

Sell it for a Geo Metro, then tell them to pound sand when you can't fit stuff in your car.
