I haven't read about anyone using a 16g on a 2.5... Not sure if anyone packages that. I care more about power that I can use daily than a big Dyno number. I kick myself every time I think about going from my K04 to the 3071R on my ms6. I have some connections for fueling so I'm not too concerned about that bit.

I'm envious of your torque.

My ported and polished VF39 put down 337/335 at 18.5 psi

It feels as if I'm always in boost, I have an ewg so it let's me know its working quite often, 3000-3200 rpm is when it starts to open up.

I'm moving up to a 3" inlet billet wheel 20G to add a little lag to save on gas (stay out of boost) and of course for the crazy numbers

16gs are kind of on the small side for a 2.5L people have had great luck and numbers with the 18g on the 2.5L

I actually just emailed Grimmspeed about PnP on a VF52. I'm still looking but I haven't found much solid info on the subject yet. I'm thinking it would give me a little quicker spool and the chance at a few more HP up top.

I think a reworked 52 will be cheaper and suit my needs/wants better than the aftermarket. Sorry I've kinda hijacked this thread talking about my noobisms.

What is everyone installing for thanksgiving?! :-)

Aaaah so wish I had read that before I commited to calling a tow truck. Paid $75 for a tow from chesterfield out to west broad. The tow truck driver was and awesome dude really knew his stuff. If you ever need a good company On Time Towing is the place to call!

Thank you for the offer though my man!!

Also I would say those coilovers would be just fine for some rallyx really good quality. I plan on picking some up sometime next year in the spring.

Well I think I showed some subie love today.

Went to an advance to pick up some brakes for my dads monte carlo and I noticed a guy with a 2006 RS with his hood popped so I parked next to him and asked him whats going on. He said he was replacing the accessory belts and spark plugs. And he said he really didn't know what he was doing since he has only worked on his motorcycle.

I ended up walking him through changing the belts, and me and my buddy put his spark plugs in. And he was kind enough to buy me a better magnet tool than I already have because we ended up needing it to get the spark plugs out. And offered to buy my friend some beer so he followed us to a food lion and he bought my buddy a 12 pack of bud light and my dad a 6 pack legend brown ale since he kept calling me and telling me to come home to put his brakes on but I didn't want to leave until we finished on this guys car so he figured he should buy something for him too.

Incredibly nice dude, he's from Northern Va and he said nobody would have helped him that much. He even said its rare to have someone hold a door for you. He has only had the car for a week and he was in town to see his parents. I told him to deffinatly take it out in the snow if we get any and don't hesitate to take it through some deep stuff.

Great stuff right there

And yeah that's exactly how Nova is. Everyone is in a rush to get nowhere fast, has no common decency, and are generally just jerks.

I always try and break the stigma by holding doors and offering any help where and when I can.

Hey yeah sorry works been crazy. I was thinking the bww on either hull street or is there one on broad? Which is closer for everyone? need some input on that and as for a time I was thinking 7ish? Get some good food and maybe a drink or two in good company to hash out the finer details on future meets. I can even call abead try and secure us a spot depending on how many people are interested. You can also text me at 804 551 2762 for questions!
