Ah my subbie is still sitting waiting for a motor, and I got my wife a 99 legacy outback and I might just come out wensday

if it fits your criteria, try the Roll Royce Turbine engine plant in Charles City, they are always looking for skilled help. Dupont, Altria (Philip Morris,) and Reynolds Metals are possible options.

yea i know a plant manager in norfolk but he is moving to the Chesterfield plant soon i think. also my brother in law's mother works there also.

I think I'm about 75% sure I'm going to sell the STi. I don't have idea what parts I'm going to leave on it and what price I would even ask for it. The blue book on it is just under $23k. Thats probably a starting point, even tho I'm sure I'll catch some **** about the price being too high. I'm going to be a very bitter and difficult seller

This weekend I'm going to put the stock suspension back on. I've finally grown rather tired of the coilovers. They have started to really get noisy and a little bouncier. Who knows, maybe I'll enjoy the ride of the stock suspension so much that I'll decide to just keep the car.

Incase you haven't noticed....I'm indecisive as hell.

I love the stock suspension, just not that great looking so high, but with the way it handles and rides I don't want to touch it.

I'm still in Sti springs and wagon struts and couldn't be happier, sort of monster truck status, but I can drive any gravel road with confidence.

Give TIC a call and they will have you on a suspension you could haven only dreamed of for a decent price to boot.

You will have a hard time selling if you're asking over $20k. Mine hasn't sold for that exact reason. Bone stock 04 with 17,5xx miles. Incredibly mint. You'd think it would be a dream car for lots to have but even at my below KBB price I'm still not getting as much interest as you'd think. Mine blue books at Low $23k-24k depending on condition. $23k being good, $24k being excellent. I'd easily say it's very good. No strut clunk, tires still good, interior looks brand new, swirl free paint, etc. You'd think it would gone real fast.

I'll let it go for a little under $22k but still haven't had any takers.

Nope, no sway bars. I have a front strut tower bar that I got as a package deal a while back. I doubt it does much of anything, but it looks nice. And its great at getting in the way when you need to take the intercooler off.

Judging back the lack of success Steve has had selling his car, mine probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Plus, if I ever do sell it, it will be immediately replaced with another scoob...so no worries

Yep...I'm shocked yours hasn't sold yet. You ever go by a dealership just to see what they would give you for a trade-in? It's probably beyond insulting, but I'm curious what they'd offer. I may do that sometime soon, just to get a good laugh.

I'm pretty surprised too. I know the 04 has a few things that make it less desirable than 05 but considering the low mileage I thought it would make for a quicker sale. You really don't find these cars with low mileage and bone stock at that. Knowing how much these get modded and beat on you'd think most people would look for less mileage.

I might go by a dealer just to see but reality is I could just let it go for cheaper private sale and still get more than the dealer although it would probably be less than I'd ideally like.
