for a cookout/car meet i'd ask for paypal deposit of $10 and that way get serious subscribers. maybe in May???

and here's cool stuff about Ariel go pro shooting from dc rallyx yahoo thread....

go back and forth between a Quadrocopter with auto-pilot/GPS way points and just taking one or two large (think 3-4 ft) ballons, anchored at three points above the course, with camera's on them.

I support all of this and demand that it happens. I will gladly strap my Hero3 Black Edition to whatever flying device someone makes.

Any one happen to know the weight of a gopro with the acrylic case installed? The camera itself is light enough with a little room to wiggle, need to know to calculate the center of gravity (CG)

Today was perfect for cruising, the temperature was in prime condition for it. I put 80 miles on my car from cruising around downtown and short pump and then back downtown.

On broad near the ford dealer ship and RPM this guy on a bicycle pulled a back to the future maneuver and grabbed onto somebodies rear fender to speed up. We got up to 35 and he let go. He got behind me at the next light in the middle lane and I didn't want him to back up traffic so when it went green I took off really slow and I gave him a thumbs up, he threw up the the peace sign and then grabbed my wing and then I took off slowly to the next light. He looked like a normal guy which is why I let him grab on, we got to the next light and he said thanks bro I have an 07 wrx. I said subie love man and went on my way.
