Default First time drag racing, how'd I do?

First time drag racing on a drag strip ever. TP stage 3 tune with supporting mods. How'd I do? I was on the right side. Any critiques

Seems like your bang on for stage 3. Could possibly improve that 60' time with a better launch.

"Stage three and mods" is so open ended its impossible to tell if that is a good time.

On my mobile app I don't see what year or motor. Atmospheric conditions vary et and traps so much as well. That's a great time for CO. But a slow one for ATCO.

About the only thing that can be judged is the 60'. It's definitely decent for a first timer. Most people are so inept they get terrible short times.

12.9 @ 107.5 says there is a little left on the table, a mid 12 should be doable if you can dial in the 60ft and get your 330ft down a bit. All comes with practice but not a bad pass for a first time at all! I assume this "stage 3" is bascially a tuned stock turbo with a few more added parts?

What exactly are your mods? Just curious...107mph I'd expect about 280ish whp on a dynojet. What RPM did you shift at?

Yea it's bolt ons running 20psi on stock turbo. I'm probably pushing closer to 300-310whp but well see as im waiting for a dyno night at a local shop here to save a few bucks. Same car with only turbo back and a TP stage 2 tune made 295whp, 333wtq @ 19psi.

I actually ran at Atco over the weekend with the TP stage 3 map as well, ran similar times. Eric's maps are great.

That's why I ask about what RPM you're shifting at. A stock turbo subaru will not make peak power at redline so if you are shifting too high it could be after the "meat" of your powerband and hurting your trap speed and ET. IIRC I shifted my STI around 7k in 1st and 6300-6500 2nd, 3rd and held 4th through the traps.

I think I shift right around 6500 for every gear first might be 7000 since I'm letting it get grip and it accelerates so quickly. I don't know if this make sense but I'm an audible shifter, I just listen for when I need to shift based on how the engine sounds.
