Default Turbo rebuilding advice in Northern NJ

Hey guys. I have been a NASIOC member and Subaru owner for a few years now and I need some help/advice. This is a multipart question so please bare with me.

After selling my bugeye(loved that thing) I inherited my brothers 05' WRX Limited. The car is a ton of fun but unfortunately is a constant work in progress. The seals in the turbo are beginning to go and I need to get it rebuilt, except I have one problem. It's not the stock turbo and I am having trouble pinning down exactly what model it is.

On the turbo housing it has the:
- Mitsubishi Insignia
- Model #: 49179-52020

I have been told that this is a TD06 20g 50 trim but I am trying to verify this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it make sense to rebuild this turbo and if so are there any local reputable shops that affordably do this work?
