hahaha for real!

Let me know where and what time...i got the premium ticket so i planned on taking advantage of being able to get in an hour early so i can get a good parking spot. which means times probably wont match, worse case ill be there and watch the crew roll in.

Don't you have a gopro, Jim? I have two, a brand new 3+ Black, and an original HD with a scratched lens. I may try and find a way to mount my Sony point and shoot in my car, too.

thanks, ResidentR.

Who all has tickets already? I bought a premium access ticket, less for the ability to show up early and more for the shirt, lol.

and where will everyone be coming from so we can coordinate an appropriate meeting place to begin the caravan?

I like the sound of Gravelly Point, next to National Airport. Big lot, cool location for pics. North enough that the arlington people wouldn't have to drive south to meet up with the caravan.

Well, see... I'm trying to get the "meet-up" spot to be up in arlington. So each individual area can group up and roll up to arlington, and then we can as a whole NOVA group, roll into Boxerfest.

I like my idea of Gravelly Point as the meet spot.

Also, who doesn't have a smartphone with the WAZE app? last thing we need is police attentions, and Waze calls out cops when people see em.

I, personally, have waze and a covert radar detector running at all times.

Not saying we should drive like dickheads, just saying we should be safe.

What if smaller groups of individual areas meet up together somewhere, for example leesburg people meet up in leesburg, and head down to arlington to meet the larger group, and then together meet the whole big group. I don't see anything wrong with that.

DUBL, I have WAZE, and will be running it as well. I'll try to buy a GoPro by then too. I think that'd be cool.

If you're leaving from Nova and want to make it by the time Boxerfest opens I'd recommend leaving Friday night and sleeping in your car.

Just bought my tickets for the whole fam. If anyone wants to meet up in the Leesburg/Sterling/Reston area to caravan down to Arlington to meet up with the bigger caravan, let me know.

DUBL URX, if you want me to be the coordinator for the western peeps, let me know.

That would be great!

I would love this to go off without a hitch, but you know what they say about plans. Lol

Does anyone have any suggestions of places, besides Gravelly Point, in Arlington for the big caravan meet spot?

What is the planned route to FedEx Field from the Arlington area (around the beltway or through DC)?

I assume the southern guys are coming straight up 95?

Well, if we meet at gravelly point or someplace in northern Arlington, then up 95 through DC on 295 would be the quickest way. Instead of driving back down to 495 to loop around.

And all southern and eastern folks will be coming up 95. All the western folks will be rocking 66 (ew).

driving through dc that way to get there is not going to be the fastest way at all, not sure of your exact location in arlington but either way through town is just not better. around the beltway and the stadium is right off the side basically all the routes to get you there through town will have you in dc and then around the outskirts and dealing with many hellacious ghetto streets.

not trying to ruin the party or step on toes just my .02$

not to mention the multitude of speed cams in dc.

how was your plan 395 in and up to 50 then down 495 and in or trying to get 214 out of dc?

and it also adds distance to the fburg folks driving up into arlington. trust me i used to run many hours running vehicles for dealerships all around the dc md va pa everywhere around here and currently work in ashburn and rockville driving from southern md. i get around.

let me look at some maps and research and see if i can suggest a plan for you guys to vote on or whatever.
