got the PVGP subaru email. This is a little ambiguous though, and should have more specific guidelines:

Quote:
Modified is mechanical, electronic, or a significant number of body and trim additions that require skill, workmanship, or technical expertise to complete. Production could include small minor changes that did not take significant skill or technical expertise to complete.
Almost everyone has a TBE and a tune, that doesn't leave many stock vehicles I would think. Should be like, TBE/tune and less or higher modified.

Looks like that is just the earliest you could check in. It still says that they are meeting between 815 and 830 to talk to the drivers about how the parade there will work. So I think if we get down there by 745 we should be ok.

That is considered stock. Simple bolt-ons =stock class. Anything you can buy out of the SPT catalog is considered Stock class. Modified would be and or turbo swap, full blown suspension, motor swap, body kit, custom paint job, gutted, that type of stuff

We're looking forward to another great year of PVGP fun! A number of us will be meeting in the morning at our place in Carnegie if anyone want to tag along.

Ok, let's still meet at 7am then. Any earlier than that is nuts

Bought new wheels yesterday, want my tarmac 2's gone. Silver Rota tarmac 2's, 18x7.5, +48, 5x100 somewhat banged up on two wheels with 5-6/32nd kumho le sport tires 225/40/18. $450 picked up.

Is it bad that my first thought after laughing at that video is: Man, he is gonna have a wicked hang over? I'm getting old, only fell once from drinking, true story. I do know some people lose their equilibrium a lot sooner than some when drinking. My Favorite is this one,

But yeah, I thought drugs might be the culprit in this one as well.

It's a difficult line to judge, there needs to be some definition, a TBE is definitely not available in the SPT catalog. Could be as simple as "Stock internals & turbo" or something, I dunno, i'm glad I don't have to figure it out.

I don't see what the fuss is about. There are two categories. Those who have done a build, and those who haven't. If you've done a build like put on a FMIC or a lightweight battery, then you're in the modified class, since none of these is in the SPT catalog. Otherwise, you're in the stock class. K.I.S.S.

Who's bring a canopy/easy-up tent contraption or similar? Since we won't have the tent to sit in I'm in favor of figuring this out so I don't get burnt to a crisp. I want to park next to them.
