Seems like too much to ask. Especially once the crown royal tent opens.

Does anyone have a Nameless 5" muffled axleback that will be at the PVGP? Or the TurboXS catback. Trying to make an exhaust decision. It would be nice to hear some in person.

Never been to PVGP, so stupid question.

Is BYOB allowed? Or is all this drunk talk just for amusement?

BYOB is required. No sobriety zone. (just don't be seen with bottles)

There is nothing amusing about beer. This is a very serious subject, and I suggest you stop taking it so lightly...

Think I'm bringing a few growlers of some local brews this year, a lot easier to manage as far as containers go.

I just bought a case of 21st amendment brew free or die IPA for it. It comes in cans. In previous years i brought bottled beers and plastic cups to pour into, but cans should be easier. Plus i have this insulated sleeve that holds 3 cans and can strap across your back. No more being beerless because i'm not near my car!

With our group of drinkers Subaru should seriously consider coozies as one of the gifts. They would be seen all over the show.

So it appears that riding a motorcycle to work was a bad idea.

Just about every day has a 50% chance of thunderstorms so it's usually a risk. Today there was a 40% chance between 2-3p. Then we got blasted. Looks a bit better over the next hour. My ride starts at 430. Glad I keep a ziplock under the seat for my phone/wallet.

I was in a broken down Chevy T6500 box truck for the entire downpour. Also unpleasant.

Oh god I was coming back from fox chapel on 28 when that storm hit, had it all the way downtown and up Banksville. Rough.

Worst part was I washed my car this morning, drove it to work, then it got rained on. So I got a leaf blower and dried it when I got home

Default Pitt Race PDE Class

Whats up guys,
Looking for some advice. I just signed up for an Pitt Race PDE (Performance Driving Education) Class. I have a Stage 1 2012 STI sedan that I want to get to know better before I start to enhance its driveability. This is my first time ever at the track. I relaize I will be putting my car thru its paces but is their anything you suddgest I do before I go? And what do you feel the condition of my car will be in afetr the day ends. they say I get 4 25min sessions.

I do not plan on going to the track but Once or twice a year if I get the bug.

Thanks eveeryone....

Just make sure the oil level is good and check it between every session. I would highly recommend something 40 weight or higher since you probably don't have an oil cooler. Besides that, just enjoy yourself!

Regarding the condition of the car, depending on how hard you drive, the outside edges of your front tires will wear the most since the car has about 3 degrees less negative camber at the front than ideal, stock. Your brake pads may also see some higher than normal wear. Depending on how hard you brake, you might want better than stock brake fluid for the next outing.

But this is your first time out so I doubt you'll be pushing the car very hard.

Does the driver of this car honestly think he can say something like "You must of got me slowing down" and not sound like the world's biggest douchebag?

Video is stupid and driver is a first class idiot.

One big thing that you might want to do is to replace the stock brake fluid with something better like an ATE blue or similar. I know after my first track event the biggest thing was brake fade. Also make sure you have some good pad left.
Also just make sure all the fluids/oil are at the correct level and your tire pressure is where you want it, depending on your tires and the conditions etc.
Another thing to remember that I have seen a ppl forget is to not use the ebrake after a session when you park it.
Congrats and enjoy it! Its a blast and hope to see you at some events in the future

I'm up at Consolidated Communications in Richland. I think every employee has a Subaru. I'm assuming the silver lowered Legacy with debadged grill, yellow fogs, and kids' seats is someone on here.
