What is a good air filter for the money that works well in a medium sized room? All I care about is filtering out the dust that collects on stuff that sits for a while.

thread is slow as molassas. i'm cross posting.

finally some real intake honk!
got a K&N in there. needs the duct connecting it to the bumper now.

so it looks yellow from the lights, sun was going down on an overcast day. and it's raining again.. :/ it's not yellow at all. and won't turn yellow with age. unlike that temporary PCV hose. regardless i'll re-clear it in the spring as there's a couple runs on it. was testing some transtar clearcoat. i like it. it's sized for a 70mm-75mm TB, which is why it looks a little reduced at the coupler.

tho none of this will last as i'm planning some boost. but with a setup that i don't really want to run higher compression on with this rod ratio.. if you know what i mean...

Wireless hotspot/networking question. My HP net book running xp surfs the web at normal 3G speeds using my wireless hot spot. My iPad3 runs super slow even timing out on some servers. I did some searching but can't come up with a fix.

Never mind . Solved.

Your iPad recognizes that the device providing the hotspot is not an Apple product and therefore is programmed not to cooperate. It will however show an ad for Apple's new iSpot device.

In actuality I was thinking it was some kind of plot hatched by VZW and apple to get me to buy a 3G ipad. The fix made no sense to me but worked. Delete the connection , reinstate, connect then reboot iPad. Weird but it worked.
