Oh so that photo must've been taken just before you went to a pig farm.

Anyone have a set of rear endlinks sitting around that they are looking to part with. I just broke one of mine. It's for a forester but 08+wrx should work. If so let me know or pm me. Thanks

Instrument cluster dimmer switch. A common issue apparently.

Internal short, I guess? Or in the connector to the switch?

I am not certain but I think it was the switch itself. Only drains when cranked to full bright position I believe.

Yeah. Internal short at one position. The old 'doc, it hurts when I do this.'-so don't do that.. Probably not even going to bother replacing it unless it acts up in other positions.

All the lighting in the car is dimmed by one switch, so it handles a bit of juice. In that one position, it drains battery current through the switch as well as keeps the controller from going to sleep. There's a tsb that covers it. Prob about a hundred bucks to do it myself.

Where (if anywhere at all,) can I get new pedal covers, oem style, for my 07 WRX (drive by wire)? I have been on the geniune parts websites and it seems i either have to get pink Sti style ones or some aftermarket crap ones. I just want the black and aluminum covers. My rubber (TR) clutch pedal cover is torn off and the brake cover is starting to go also.

I got more from feed beans, but Baer should be able to get them too. You're talking about the aluminum ones with the raised black rubber nubbins?

In engineering-speak, when one asks what the problem was, they are asking about the lowest level problem that's known/found.

My apologies, next time I"ll dumb it down for plebians like you.

Ask and you shall receive, they are very easy to find in the parts catalog, not sure how easy they are to install though. Check your inbox, i sent you your price and the part number.

They take a while to wrestle onto the pedals, kinda sucks to install

I know it's a stretch, but does anybody have a set of 18" 5x100 wheels that I could borrow for the club trial at PIRC tomorrow? They don't have to be pretty. Thanks in advance.
