Yeah, 3G/4G has devolved into marketing speak since there's no one regulating the verbiage. T-Mobile's HSPA+ network is pretty quick even though it's 3G, I usually get 10-15 Mbps down.

Hey Shek, a long while back you mentioned some street pads you really liked. I think they were either stop-techs or racing brake ones. Do you remember them? I am about ready for new ones. I had Hawk HPS on my Saabaru. I liked the stopping, but they were super dusty and noisy.

I like ebc redstuff for the ceramic. Lower dust and noise. Bite isn't as abrupt as the hps when they're new but more consistent through the life of the pad. When I used hps pads in the past I noticed a worn pad had significantly less bite than a new pad. The redstuff aren't like that.

The Stoptech street pads are good. I drove a 24-hour Chumpcar race with them, and they handled it brilliantly (okay, so maybe our car broke down a few times). Not too dusty, dead silent, and good feel even when it gets hot.

Yeah, the Stoptech street pads are good and hold up to more repeated high speed braking than most street pads. I have had them on the red car the last few times it's been at Nelson Ledges.

But what is he going to do about the correct brackets needed to accomplish such a feat?

Pick one and you're good to go!

Won't be able to make next Tuesday. Typically they're free so count me in on future meets.

Taggart: We'll work up a Number 6 on 'em.
Hedley Lamarr: [frowns] "Number 6"? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that one.
Taggart: Well, that's where we go a-ridin' into town, a-whompin' and a-whumpin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.
Hedley Lamarr: You spare the women?
Taggart: Naw, we rape the **** out of them at the Number Six Dance later on.
Hedley Lamarr: Marvelous!
Such a great movie
