Does anyone know of a junkyard that pays for good parts or should I just take it to a scrap yard? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
i could potentially be interested in the mufflers if they're gonna go cheap. i've seen it done and heard it's direct swap to put the on the gf's 3.6r, but i'll be damned if i'm gonna pay a lot for her to hate it

So down the road from my new place there's a black GR WRX with MAIC stickers and a rally pig, both in red. There's also a brand new silver Impreza in the driveway. Anyone know who this is? I haven't had a chance to be a creep and drop by yet.

I'm getting some type of harmonic vibrations when going above 35MPH. I'm guessing it could be due to wheels being unbalanced or alignment issues. Anyone know of a shop with a good wheel balancer?

Anybody need some modded dark blue injectors? They flow ~940CC/min, I have the flow sheet and they are matched within 1.3%. They came out of my car and I am looking to get $150 for them.

In other news I checked my oil today and was like a quart and a half low!! Wtf?? I changed oil about a month or so ago with redline 10w40 and checked it a week after I changed it and it was good. Should I try a different oil next time?

Hey guys, I hit a pothole yesterday. Got a bubble on my tire and bent the Wheel on my 2008 Impreza Outback Sport.
This is the wheel I would need.

2008 Outback Sport
Size: 17x7"
Offset: +55
Bolt pattern: 5x100
Wheel Weight: 22.6 lbs
OEM-equipped tire size: 205/50R17
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2239019

I would need 4 new tires and a matching wheel. Or a whole set of something else that would fit my car.
Any idea what I should do?

Depending on your tread life on the 3 good tires, you may be able to get one shaved to match.

Just going to someone who has the right equipment may not necessarily result in proper balancing... Read the posts here by one of the Engineers who designed the Hunter balancer.

And that is the nature of the problem that happens when a lug-centric wheel is mounted on a balancer using a centering cone instead of a lug adapter
I haven't seen a single person balance wheels and NOT use a centering cone. It takes a few less seconds to set up so that's just what they end up using...

Anyone had any luck with Baeirl Subaru in the North Hills? That's the closest to me with a road force.

Not a fan. They kept some of the dumbass people that were there when it was Suburban.
Last visit I had to look up the part numbers for them on my phone.

Same here. I let them do a valve cover gasket job once and the RTV ended up in my oil pickup screen and who knows where else but the engine spun a rod bearing 2 weeks later. **** 'em.

I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Mike and about two weeks ago I purchased a new 2013 WRX 5 door. I look forward to learning about the car and meeting some new people. I am pretty new to Subarus, I have owned mostly Hondas in my life.

We've got a road force balancer down at Day West Liberty Subaru.

On another note, we also have 3 STI's and 1 WRX in our new car inventory, fresh off the truck. If anybody would be interested in any of these, shoot me a PM and I can get you set up with one of our salesmen. Ice Silver STI Limited Sedan, WR Blue STI Limited Sedan, Dark Grey Metallic STI base sedan and WR Blue Limited WRX sedan.
