since i've tightened my battery cable its been running a lot smoother. and i'm ditching the SRI and going back to stock in hopes to cures my low rpm hesitation. my buddy truxell keeps buying up all the bad motor wrx's around here and throwing away the drivetrains to swap in imported STI stuff. Maybe next one I'll talk him into giving me the old stuff but then i would loose my 4.11's

Default Blown Motor

I need some help, my son blew his 2010 Imprezas motor. It is in the shop now, but we are waiting to see if Subaru will cover it, but I am trying to get some help if we have to cover the cost. Does anyone know what it could cost me and where I can find a reputable mechanic in Pittsburgh to repair it?

Thanks for the help.

The answer everyone's going to give (with good reason) is Moore Performance.

Anyone want a A-pillar trim piece w/ a triple gauge pod already attached and maybe a few gauges in there too? Came off a 2.5RS. Trade you for a beer or something at the next meet (which should've been...today? or next week?).

Have you tried the Sheetz on 88 in Bethel Park?

https://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-...d=0CKQBEPwSMAo

Your profile location is stated as Upper St. Clair, the above Sheetz is fairly close to parts of St. Clair IMO.

Turns out my ancient MRT catback broke on the lip of my driveway after the township repaved my road....

WTB any 3" catback or - preferred - just a mid-pipe. the MRT axleback is just fine. Looking to buy ASAP.
