My first saabaru is the only one I bought new. I paid 22k. That was with the GM discount for everybody dropping it from the 30k that nobody ever paid for a saabaru. The wrx wagon optioned exactly the same would've been right around your number, maybe 1k less? I dunno.

(This was MY05; I forget what year you have)

Its an 04, first year of Sti. Funny my wife pointed at the Sti on the lot and was like why dont you get that one? It was sold.

I should have ordered one and walked out.

11 years later and i have some parts of the sti anyway. A new 2010 Sti engine, and an 03 Sti Tranny. Its coming along. Getting close to having the exhaust mocked up and made. After that i need an intercooler and intake and it can at least start.

I always wanted to see a saabaru front clip on a wrx sedan body. I think that would have been hot.

I had two. Bought one new, put 30k on it, rolled it into the woods and the insurance paid $2k more than it originally had cost, then I waited a year and bought one with 30k on it for $15k. Sold it almost 2 years ago. Was great but I don't miss it one bit.

Was a nice car. Everything except the stereo was done really well.

FS: 2011 STi shortblock with low compression on one of the cylinders. Most likely a cracked ringland but I didn't tear it apart so I'm not sure how bad it is. $600 OBO. It's sitting at Moore Performance and I need to get rid of it.

Those cams sound Sick! (in a good way)
I pulled that vid from another NASIOC members build thread. It was the guy in Atlanta with the extremely customized/moded silver WRX. He is a CTS-V owner now.

I've seen comments stating that a 700hp number is easily attainable. I didn't know those things could throw down like that. It will be interesting to see which direction he goes with his new project.

I drove a 2011 CTS-V and LOVED it. RWD is just tons of fun. Price per fun factor is right up there with a GT-R or R8 V10, in my opinion.
