This is actually exactly what I have been trying to convince Jason of since I met him. Just make some pink carbon fiber products for Subarus and you are bound to sell them no matter if they do anything or not.

Dead on Paul. Flood title is worse that salvage. Salvage means hit hard and fixed. With modern frame machines that is not that big of a deal anymore. Plus cars don't have to be crushed to be salvage. Cars are made to fall apart on impact so you don't, body designers do not take replacement into account when designing cars, (look at the bumper cover on a new Malibu,it is like 25% of the front end) parts like HID headlamps that self level and so on can make a front end hit break 10 k pretty quick. There are guys making a good living selling only salvage cars that they repair and warranty themselves. Flood title can mean smell you can't get rid of and electrical gremlins that can be a nightmare to defeat. That said if that car is around next week when I sell the bee I am making an offer.

Depends on how much it would cost to do an Sti drive train swap. I am looking into it. It would still be a bee when I got done with it.

Well, if you DO happen to get to that point, just give me a heads up before you come out to look at it and we'll grab some dinner or something.

Also, I don't think you even need googone, that plastidip stuff seems to peel off REALLY easily.

Yeah, plasti-dip is an extremely poor choice for any sort of exterior paint. One rock chip can pierce the 'skin' and then it's all over. Duplicolor truck bedliner is the ticket if you want an abrasion resistant coating on the outside.

Xforce Varex muffler install on the Thad's wagon! First time I've ever laid my hands on one of the mufflers and it's pretty wild! It has a valve (essentially an exhaust cutout) internally to either force exhaust gas into the chambers for quiet operation, or wide open for more sound/performance.

That's actually an old Australian commercial. It's been years since I've seen it but that's it exactly:

I'm having issues with my innovate motorsports lm1 o2 set up. Tried a new sensor and the gauge is still going crazy. at idle, Says o2...20.9...o2...20.9 etc. during driving it's all over the place. Anyone ever have this happen. I think I'm going after a wiring problem.

Paul, ditch that trash and just move your stock sensor a few inches post turbo.

Did that free air thing with new sensor. Not sure how to calibrate. My downpipe doesn't have a bung close to turbo

Paul easiest way is just pull the sensor out of the pipe, and unplug it from the controller. turn the controller on for i think 20 seconds with the sensor unplugged, turn it off, then plug in the sensor, turn the controller on with the sensor not installed, "in free air" for 1 minute IIRC? sensor gets HOT. then put it all back together in the car. well, after you turn it off and let it cool. i had two different people on different occasions, (not including me doing it once) push the wrong button on my XD16.. which puts it in calibrate mode.. while they were driving.. don't get an xd16, they'res a jumper wire or soemthing you can do to put it in calibrate mode but unplugging the sensor thing works too.
