So I know what killed the STi.

Some arseclown used a metric ton of RTV apparently.

EDIT: I should also clarify. This was nothing of Jason's doing. Someone else had this engine apart.

Never expected a Nova to be there

Anyone doing the PVGP rallye? I'd sign up tonight because it will be $60 for driver/navigator + car. On june 1st at some point the price will change to $75.
I signed up yesterday and convinced my dad to bring out his 1971 grand prix out for it too

Awesome = Subarashi in Japanese. SUBARASHI.

Take it from someone who had a "named " car. Sti will do nicely.

Yeah, I hate aborted RTV fetuses too. Same thing killed one of my engines back in 2007. It happened 2 weeks after I let a local Subaru dealership fix a valve cover gasket leak. They used way too much of it or didn't let it cure before they started it up. You can see how some of it lodged in the oil pickup screen.

we changed billing systems last year off of an old AS400, and we were converting charge codes over, and I found a charge code to purcahse a 33.6 for about $370. If you can do less then $250 for your 56k (provided it's a hardware modem and not a softmodem) I'm interested.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/98-01-SUBARU...#ht_500wt_1180

same TB as STi, and other ****s you can hock too. fuel rails require adapters to use your WRX rails or just use the NA rails with topfeeds.

we already have a CAD'd solution for your fuel injectors/rails. No worries there.

Im game if i can use my aeromotive fuel rails. I was under the impression the fuel injector spacing was different. If its just the bracket thats no big deal.

i'm just sayin, a decent intake manifold and tuning for it is 10%+ "free" power on the same setup otherwise, better uniformity cyl-cyl, lower consumption and greater reliability vs that twisted dildos stock one. also less points of failure in a 1pc thing vs 3pc, but who cares.

you have to take care of the fuel rails, a couple vacuum connections, EGR and TB adapter plate(vindler and i both have different cad solutions on that too) if you're staying cable TB.

I took it to mean the n/a big plenum long runner manifold. There is less failure points because the tgv housings and gaskets arent needed. I wanted to keep the ported housings i have because the fuel rails i have bolt right up. I was looking for posibly the short runner manifold, because it looks like it flows similar but it bolts on the tgvs.

Jason yes i would want to keep the cable throttle body, i have a ported one of those as well so i would need the adapter.

Does anyone know what year/models came with the short runner big plenum that fits the wrx tgvs?
