can you only respond to part of something, the sleeping in is CRUCIAL! racing really requires waking up in the wee early hours, and usually going far away, so when you come home your'e quite tired, which means you know goddamn, nevermind.

Here's my new fuel delivery and return layout for. Its still parallel but it now has 100% less "T"s. The blue lines are feed and the green are return. I was able to make this change while keeping all the same lines (they were expensive) and swapping in two fittings (a -6 to -6 union and a 90 degree -6 ORB and -6).

Probably because it's direct and port injection.

Anyone have a set of 02/03 WRX wheels with decent rubber that they would like to unload, picking up a GF project

neither of you have spent any amount of timing comparing OEM speedometers to GPS verified speeds. please do that sometime... that 114 of Jimmy's was as indicated on the OEM dash. way overestimated. probably more like 108 with GPS verification.
context. i didn't quote cause what i was referencing was directly above me. and i've GPS/rpm verrified all my spedos. they're all pretty accurate. i was talking the dude's integra. next thing your'e going to say is tire deformation makes RPM based speeds wildly inaccurate.

You'd hope so for your ego's sake.

Fact is, I went up in tire diameter, which brought the speeds within 1.2% (within 1 mph @ 80 mph as per many roadside radar boxes in construction zones). I'd say that's better verification than GPS, unless you can come up with some sort of conspiracy where PennDOT calibrates all their roadside radar boxes really high.

On Wednesday I'll have a box of free stuff sitting out by my car... mainly GC/GF stuff. Please take anything you want. Power steering pump, axle, trunk weather stripping, spark plug wires, etc. I also have GC/GF windows in mint condition and '04 Forester towing/bike hitch too... might have the windows in the trunk, I'll keep the hitch at home.

Oh, I see. Then you were were doing damn near 114! That Integra doing a claimed 120 through the kink; we don't know if he was on shorter tires to improve gearing right?

the instructor in his integra on 205/50/15 fuzion ZRi (stock tire diameter on GSR is 195/50/15, i dont' know what GS non vtec is.)did not lift and continued accelerating, and he had a track radar gun verified 115+mph top speed on the back straight/kink(he was still accelerating from the back straight, through the kink) how is that so hard to believe?

in my sti i was hitting 125-127 from RPM logs(calculated for my also larger diameter 245/45/17s) but then dropping down to 90~95 for the kink. one last time, i was lifting on the back straight and cruising most of it, cause it's really bumpy, and when your FLCA is loose(did not know it was till day after) and you're gettign toe out on every bump it's friggin scary and twitchy, that's why i didn't let you drive it.

the only people i know who put SMALLER diameter tires on their cars are autoX nerds and fwd drag racers running slicks(ugh). the cool guys always run larger diameter and width tires. i can confidently say that in the hundreds of tires i've bought in my life, not one of them was smaller in diameter and width than what they were replacing or stock.

Does anyone have an 06 wrx we can borrow for about 15 minutes? If so, please pm us. We literally need the car for 15 minutes (maybe less). Thanks!

Friggin exhaust leaks.

1st problem: I have a spring bolt snapped off in the actual header itself, so I would need to torch it out.

I then need to fix leaks (pics/video forthcoming) in two other areas on the exhaust.

2nd Problem: huge leak between cat and mid-pipe, rust everywhere. Can these be torched out and replaced with regular bolts?

3rd Problem: More springbolts are loose down by the muffler can.

Cat to Mid-pipe leak:

Video of the whole exhaust on the lift:

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...x/c4672512.mp4

Any ideas? I am worried that I cant just torch these out and would need to replace the whole blasted thing.
