I have stoptech pads on my 02 with h6 rear rotors and I had to replace my rotors after about 40k miles they were complete trash and pads were at half life but they are a pretty good all around pad other than ruining rotors

i don't think i've put 40k miles on anything ever. that sounds pretty good for a performance product.

Forgot to say they were napa rotors so I put part blame on crap rotors and also no auto cross or racing but some very spirited back road driving

No argument there. I'm actually curious if this is an isolated incident. This is the first I'd heard of it.

I've had the HPS and now the Stoptechs.

Personally, not much difference.. except in price and the color of dust. I'd pick the Stoptechs again. Overall, it feels like it just stops a little firmer. Super scientific, I know.

Centric premium blanks with both, paired with GS MC brace, stock lines.

So which one are you asking about? And what does the car weigh? And what kind of power is it making? And what kind of tires? I guess you aren't hotlapping at all so that should make it easier on the brakes.

yeah, seeriously. we need like, what mu the current pads have and the kinematics of the brake system, datasheets on the tires, heat dissipation charts of the wheels and rotor chemistry to start. also need things like your current testosterone level and how much joos you're injecting, caloric intake, how many times you wank a day vs on race day etc etc. you know, the basics. you doof. it's not like nick isn't gonna just buy the cheapo stoptech streets anyway.
