Default Canyon run 11-30-14

Anybody interested in a canyon run on 11-29-14 or 11-30-14? I am willing to go up Lake Hughes road and have lunch at the Rock Cafe, or a Malibu run, end at the Snake. Work off that turkey you ate too much of on Thanksgiving. I prefer the Lake Hughes run, great roads and less traffic, and a great lunch stop. I will double check Tuna Canyon if we go Malibu, last time it was closed, won't make that mistake again. Hope to see some of you out there. The Stealth is dead, replaced with a Maxima with a 6 speed on it, and KYB struts and shocks. It ain't a Subie, but it does ok.

Default canyon run

OK, how about 11-29-14, less traffic on Saturday than Sunday, particularly on a holiday weekend. My preference is Lake Hughes road, meet at Castaic, take the I5 to Lake Hughes off ramp, turn right and meet at the McDonalds on the left. Lots of places to get gas there. Plan on leaving about 9:30 AM. Does this work for you people, if not tell me what does and we'll do it.

I did the last one with them, it's awesome!

Roads vary from tight and technical to flat out

Default Lake Hughes run

Sounds like Lake Hughes it is. Saturday, 11-29-14, meet at McDonalds in Castaic, off I5 at Lake Hughes, on the left. Leave at 9:30 AM. If anyone is interested, I can add a loop that will add about 100 miles of some great roads, we'll talk about it and see if anyone wants to do that. It would go west out of Frazier Park on Cerro Norestre to highway 33, then south to Lockwood Valley and back to Frazier Park, a great loop with little or no traffic, great sweepers, and some technical stuff.

Everybody and any car is welcome. For new rubber, I use Tire Rack, their web site is good, lots of choices at all price levels. And no sales tax. Hope to see you out there.

For those who are coming, my cell is 818-274-7501. If you are joining us, but running late, call me and we can wait a little while extra.

I run a shop so i already get it at a better discount and no tax just weighing my options as rubber wise goes (insert trojan puns here)
Im probably going to stick with Michellin PSS or PS3
