Default New to LA area, can anyone help?

Just moved to Redondo Beach from Baltimore a few weeks ago. I'd love to meet some people in the area, learn some new things, and ultimately buy you a 6/12/24 pack of whatever your drink is if you'd lend me a hand switching out tires.

I drove over here with snow tires on (which came in super handy), and I'd like to switch them out for the summers I have. I'd also like to learn the dismounting/mounting/balancing process too.

Let me know if you're up for lending a hand. I'd be extremely grateful. Thank you so much in advance!

I'd consider getting another set of wheels for your summers if you do any snow sports at all. It'd be awfully nice to quickly swap on winter tires/wheels to head to the mountains and swap back when you get home.

As for home-mounting and balancing, I guess there are a lot of things I'd take time to learn to do myself, but that's not one of them. Anyway, welcome to SoCal!

I might be different over there but here in socal, there are a lot of shops that will swap tires out cheaply because of the competition. either way you still need to get them balanced anyways so why even bother doing it at home?

60 bucks max on mounting and balancing on all 4 at tire shops. I would just go that route

Check out 168 Motoring in Torrance, if you have nice rims they're the only guys I trust. They've got a touchless tire system, and a hunter road force balance machine. Kevin a super cool guy.
