Default 2009 Maxima detail with few pictures.

Just detailed a Maxima today. Took 4hrs washing, claying, waxing, vacuuming interior, and cleaning interior.

^^This +1 and you might wanna try an interior brush to get those extra crumbs and dirt you missed in the seat, console, and under the pedals. And no tire dressing? your personal choice I guess.

and use air for all the cracks/buttons. as for tire dressing dont use anything with silicone in it as it will dry out your tires

For the amount I charged him ($80) to do all of this, I honestly don't think I did a bad job.

I also did use a brush for the center console but those crumbs have to be picked out unless i disassemble the center console.

The car is a lease, so he didn't really care for the car. Its the first detail in the car's life and he only had it for 2yrs.

I have tire dressing but it doesn't give it the shine like most do.

....you do realize there are two different/common types, right? DMS vs PDMS ; solvent based vs water based. The former is what is usually attributed to damaging plastic rubber surfaces over time (ie accelerating the release of plasticizers potentially leading to cracking, "drying", etc).

I also don't touch armor all products or turtle wax products. All products I used were either Meguiar's, 1 einszett, or Optimum.

Most people spend 6+ hrs doing what I do in 4hrs. Thats also me taking my time. =T
