Hi, I jumped on the Cobb SD day one and wanted to share some info and pictures to help others.

Review: So far I am super impressed by it. I am running my STI in full SD mode and completely removed the MAF. (Note you can keep the MAF and use it as your IAT sensor, but I'd rather get rid of that thing!) I wired in a GM IAT sensor and GM 3bar MAP sensor removing the stock MAP sensor on the throttle body as well. It is awesome to not have a MAF anymore. I am now also able to run a shortram intake right off my rotated turbo (basically a short piece of pipe with a nipple for my AOS). Also since there is no MAF I can run a super light spring in my Tial BOV (I went from the pink spring to the black spring lol) and have no flutter/surge under low boost shifting now.

Parts: The parts I used are the following, I prefer to use the GM sensors as they are good products and a great price:

GM IAT w/ Pigtail = http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/g...tail-p-62.html $22.25
Alum 3/8" NPT Bung for IAT = http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/3...sor-p-107.html $9
or Steel 3/8" NPT Bung for IAT = http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/3...sor-p-231.html $9
GM 3bar MAP Sensor = http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...sor-p-161.html $64
GM MAP Sensor Pigtail = http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...ail-p-163.html $11.50

Wiring: After clipping the stock MAP sensor off connect the stock harness wires to the GM pigtail as follows:

GM 3Bar Letter / 3Bar Wire Color / Type / Stock Wire Color
A / Black Wire / Ground / Black&Green
B / Green Wire / Signal / Orange
C / Gray Wire / 5v Src / Red

After clipping the stock MAF sensor off connect the stock harness wires to the GM pigtail as follows:

GM IAT Wire Color / Stock MAF Wire Color
Red / Brown
Black / Green&Red
Capped Off / Yellow&Blue
Capped Off / Green&Black
Capped Off / Pink&Blue

Not sure, still working on the tuning more, and then I'll get it on the dyno. Though when I went with the Cobb SD I also changed to the Cosworth Intake so I wont be able to tell just from changing to SD if there was any gain. I'm not sure if Cobb even advertises there are power gains. I just did it to go full SD on the stock ecu and get rid of the maf.

The GM unit just uses a 1/4" line, so you can tap it anywhere really. Since I have the Cosworth intake all my vacuum connections are on the top on the vacuum bar.

I removed the stock MAP sensor and tapped the hole and screwed in a bolt with an o-ring under the head. That isn't needed as most people can leave their stock sensor in place and unused, but it sticks up and interfered with my vacuum lines a little on the Cosworth manifold.

I'll know in the next few days. As mine was converted. I'll have a base and a after SD conversion.

My car had bad surging at light throttle. 6th gear cruising was useless and 5th part throttle or tip in around 3100-3200 rpm then again a 3900-4100rpm
Even with the anti-surge housing.

I'll know more over the next week or so.
