05 wrx wagon to 05 sti 5x114 conversion

Posting this for a friend that signed up but isn't able to make a new topic yet. He typed this as if he were me, so that's why it's still in 3rd person. Thanks to any that are able to help:

"My buddy has a 2005 WRX Wagon and wants to do the 5x114 conversion.

He's found someone selling a 2005 STI R180 Diff, front and rear axles, hub, rotors, speed sensors, knuckles. He's wondering if the 05 STi parts will work for his 05 WRX Wagon.

and he apoligizes for re-posting a common topic but the specific information he's looking for he said he couldn't find.

so I've tried searching and it's always stating to use a '04 setup as opposed to '05+ R180
I didn't know if there was any differences between the 2. I just want to be sure before I head down to meet up with a gentleman that has all of the stated '05 Sti parts.
