absolutely loving the forester so far. rides like a dream. always thought about owning a slightly larger vehicle but thought i'd miss being nimble. but it's fantastic. just hating the fishbowl feel for now. so used to having some kind of tint.

dealer asked for my cats back, which i don't have so it didn't matter . I feel bad for the person that buys it if they try to return it to mostly stock without retuning it. good luck to them getting that ewg up pipe off.

Don't you wish you could watch a live feed of them trying to get it off?

I don't know if they'd go that far though, even for the techs thats at least an hour project and requires another up pipe. and the stock EBCS. and the lines. and the pill. and the wastegate actuator arm. and the stock tmic.

to me that would be the equivalent of watching one of the SAW movies. So many bloody knuckles from doing almost every one of my friends uppipes and TBEs over the years. *shudder* there's never enough pb blaster

just to throw it out there to anyone that havs a 2009 2010 wrx....what i thought was a wheel bearing going... turned out to be some kind of bearing in the tranny.....and they said a few wrx's have been having this problem. sooooo if you hear a little whining noise ( kind of like what a manuel sounds goin in reverse ) that may be the problem. my rex only has 30k on it. so possible recall?? my baby is dead! for now anyway. should have her back in a week or two they said....

Happened to my '07 as well, covered under warranty though. Wish I could say the same for the most recent carnage :-/

The STi was fun but brought a lot more headaches than needed for a broke college kid. LOVING the forester. I would dread driving the STi some days thinking of how much gas I was burning or wondering if an intercooler coupler was going to pop off or something random.

Grocery Getter love. I may get back into the game when I can afford a side toy and go stage 2 access port and THAT'S IT.

Pretty sure those are the wheels I have that I used for winter. Anyone have any idea what I should ask for them when I put em up for sale? Fits STi hubs.

Whatever they are worth you should offer them to anyone in this thread at a discount of course.

Not really sure, BJ, maybe search the FS threads here and see what people are getting for them.

If they fit my foresters I'd be trying to rip you off, I mean offer you an ok price.

Sell em to ya real cheap . mine are winter beater rims though, a fresh powdercoat might make them summer worthy but they have seen better days.

Well it looks like I'm selling the winter wheels too since they're too short for the forester, or so the tire rack guy told me. I put them up in the classifieds, and of course will give any of the local tri state yokels a nice discount

anyone know of any good places close that could a new shortblock in an 05 legacygt? A friends decided to grenade itself. Right now it might be headed to all wheels driven in wellsboro who's a friend of mine, but just wanted to see if you guys knew of any others. I've heard good things about congyham auto but don't know if they do major engine work?
