So I have no idea if anyone here in Fairbanks is aware of the FPD having a 2011 Legacy in their arsenal or not but I saw one earlier today and it immediately sparked my attention. I ended up searching this with google and it brought me to a youtube video that was posted Dec. 27th of 2011. I'll let the video do the rest of the talking.

I knew you would have something to say about this. I couldn't believe it either! It sort of really pisses me off. Its nice to know that's what they do with the grants they get to have these new vehicles.
My favorite part of the video is when the guy says, "Don't take your foot OFF the gas!" Ps. an anonymous email was sent to News Center 11 with the link to this video.*********** |

I do advocate learning how your car handles/reacts to certain conditions, so I don't really blame them. However, we live in an unjust world, so if we can't legally play in the snow, then they can't either.
If it were a training course, that would be different. I think everyone should be allowed to drive their cars on a flat, open surface and do some cone dodging in the winter. |

Bout time they got smart. I have troopers/police stop by the shop all the time and I always tell them they are stupid for driving rear wheel drive cars in the winter lol.

^ I'm sure they love it when you call them stupid.
I've seen it around a few times. I think it's a captains car or something. I don't think it's a normal street cruiser car. You won't see it out all the time. |

Who cares, its not undercover and that video is clearly shot in the police shop parking lot and the driving is not even anything crazy. Your just wasting your time. Flame on!

If that was any of us in an empty parking lot they'd say it was reckless driving

Yeah I've seen it a few times, i believe it's their volunteer car, and was donated by kendall.
That video was painful to watch, that person does NOT know how to have fun. At least I have something if I get hassled for doing the same, I should download this onto my phone... Edit: Where is that? |

^^ It's not a volunteer car, it's a real FPD car. It will really give you a ticket. Volunteer cars will pull you over until the real cops show up.
It looks to me like the lot on Davis, between Wilbur st. and Peger. The place they have the impound auctions every summer. I could be mistaken though. I only watch part of the video since the driving was SO LAME.... |

You just pointed out that if you're getting chased by this cop you should run cause he'll never catch you.
