Default 1986 Subaru Leone Turbo

ATT ! no more room on the first page so everything will be as i go

The Subaru Leone TURBO

86 Subaru Leone TURBO 29,000km 18,000miles all oem, weight of the car 910kg !

the parts car for awd and 5x100 86 xt6 swap

my other baby now a parts car ! 93 legacy turbo on pump 94, 426hp 390tq. built forged ej22t, with ver8 STi heads all oem, soon on its way ! a full race twin scroll bw S200SX 7670 to make some more power. on pump 94 with the full race i should be about 470hp 450tq... with race gas ??????

the refresh block to my legacy block which is going in the Leone
400,000km ej22t block, sent out ready for me to put together.

plug the breather hole

EJ20G STi type RA crank

what i have done so far: (pic soon)
striped down the xt6 for all its parts to convert the Leone. the block will take me a day to build, so ill get it ready on a later date. the full race should be on its way soon and my legacy turbo is still my dd.
when it gets warm out, i pull the legacy apart for the rest of my parts to go in the Leone

whats in store quick run down;
a AWD 990kg car with pump sunoco 94 470hp 450tq.. with Race Gas ! something just silly
(in legacy) built forged ej22t, oem STi ver8 heads, STi spec-C RA 3.9 6mt non dccd, r180, Vi-Pec 044, bosch pump, BREMBO, BBS, cusco motor tranny mounts.

what is on the way:
full race twin scroll bw S200SX 7670, a barrel of Race Gas, new bushings bearings oem + powder coat allot of stuff.

most likely:
hsd coilovers, whitline products all over the place for what ever fits on this car ??

maybe:
not brembos but wrx 4pot 2pot (leaning this way for light and stupid fast) + enkei rally racing rims RC-G4 15" gold, r comp racing tires.

we start of with a stock 86 Subaru Leone FWD TURBO 28,000kms. weight is 910kg 2002lb car !!

so what we have hear is to add the 4WD system into one of these cars, those are 20MM sway bars, above the sway bars is what holds the diff, about that is a mix and match of old and new to hold the STi 6mt, above that is a updated version of control arms to hold the 5x100 knuckle.

rear axle XT6 for the R180 3.900, there is a trick to these where i mix the outer with the new style inners to run a R180. or i could just stay light weight and put a R160 in it.

cusco motor tranny mnt

ARP head studs, Cam & Crank sensor new oem

Spare EJ22T Built @ SUBARU TECNICO INTERNATIONAL

this is the motor that will be put in this monster ! a EJ22T full built version 8 STi heads big port, with a Full Race twin scroll turbo kit on its way.

the end result will be a -2300lb Leone with 500whp 94 Pump, 550whp Race Gas. brakes will be subaru 4pot 2pot

(ECU adaptation)

so what we have hear is the female plugs i need from a stock 1986 turbo ecu that i destroyed for these plugs

just got a little eye candy from Jon at full race coming soon !!

Well got half the brakes sorted out for the project

so got a little oem new parts in today xt6 wheel bearings, xt6 steering tie rod, mustache bar bushings, and new diff support. also have 2006 wrx 2pot rear backing plates, but i sent them out to a friend's machine shop to make a ring for the centering ring

this saturday i should have my xt6 rear control arms in, the ones i took of the xt6 i cant get bearings out the locking nut is rusted shut

So I went and picked up a Jdm spec c version 8 (maybe type RA) motor swap Ej207DW7ER TY856WB6JA for heads and tranny diff and what ever else I need to twist my leone in to pretzel lol

Also I was driving to see the boys at Nvauto and I seen a gc impreza on top of another car scrap yard ! so I found the rims I wanted for a steal 250. So I sent them out to the sand blasters to get ready for the powder coating. I'm thinking world rally blue color for the rims

started stripping for what i need
