Default EJ20K IAT? Really high temps in CoPilot....

Do the 20K's use an IAT? Tuning with CoPilot and getting air temps ~350. I can't find a sensor anywhere, three wire maf should be gnd ref and signal(no temp). Can anyone confirm that they didn't use an air temp sensor?

there is an intake temp sensor. i believe its a 2-wire probe, normally goes into the intake duct (pre-filter). its possibly you have that wiring cut, so its just reading max/min or something

It's hidden in the intake duct. Btw im running 20k with pfc, I tried copilot but it didnt log boost nor does it control boost on the stock boost controller. I think it only had 7ish psi which should b wastegate spring pressure. Same thing with u?

EJ20G's have no IAT, unless they somehow use the MAF to calculate it

Good to know. Glad I didn't go tearing apart the fenderwell to get at the intake duct to find the IAT. I'll take a close look at the MAF but I don't think it has an IAT.

I have noticed a sensor of some sort right in front of the radiator. Could be a temp sensor but definitely not an IAT
