Default 99 Legacy GT questions

Hi all

I just picked up my first lgt, and so far I love it!
Just have a few questions

1. Does it have a lsd (front center and rear?)
2. Can the ecu be open sourced?
3. Got some clutch chatter, could it be that the clutch needs to be replaced, or just an adjustment?
4 Any common things to do for maintenance @ 283,000 km?
5.Where is the fuse box (so I can pull the ****ing abs fuse out)??

Thanks
Nick

1) front - no, center - viscous coupler or clutches, depending on manual/auto, rear - doesn't look like it.
2) Doubt it.
3) Most likely the flywheel is tweaked, replace it.
4) That's what, about 170k miles? Do you know the maintenance history? Has the timing belt been changed? If not, do it. Check all of your fluids and flush those that don't look good. Check your brakes, check for leaks and fix.

I'm with Cosmo on this.

I hear there's a dual-mass clutch available now, from Subaru, which might help the clutch stuff.

Thanks. It is my winter beater and I eventually plan to Rally it out (light bars, 3" lift, weld center and rear difs)
I guess I should ask, will springs and struts from a similar year outback fit and work?
