Default Radiator has two extra nipples

So my 2000rs radiator started to split.
Napa guys said he can get a replacement by morning
Looks like the right one from a quick once over in the box
Drain and remove old broken radiator easily
Take new one out of the rest of the packaging and noticed extra nipples.
Normally thats good
...on radiator that's bad cause i don't have a tranny cooler
i'm guessing thats what its for?

Can they be plugged or looped to close it out, or am i destined to return it?

They are for an automatic transmission cooler. If you don't have an AT, then you just don't hook anything up to them. Most aftermarket radiators are set up this way to prevent needing two part numbers. Don't sweat it.

No. It warms/cools the ATF. Its a piece of spiral shaped copper pipe totally sealed from the coolant.

you can/should still plug/cover the nipples so crap doesn't get in there. (Specifically something that can eat through copper..)
