Yupp tell me about it. I knew it was bound to happen, just didn't think it would happen in like a month. But whatever, time to move on and go bigger. Should make some real nice, safe and reliable power!

Damn typing in all caps

What internals you going with? And why a Dom4. Could go with an atp turbo and make killer power with better spool.

I should be up and running again soon, gotta cruise soon man I'm going nuts.

I just posted all the parts and internals I'm running on the first page, it's a lot. But I'm doing rods, pistons, etc to make high compression, so the blouch will spool a lot better. And the blouch will make more horsepower for me! And it's a few hundred dollars cheaper BTW when are you getting it back? I miss seeing that sexy blue car ahahahhaha

hate to ask but since its probably a sore topic but... what do you think caused it? What mods were done when this happened?

Nah it's cool man. I'm over it ahahahha. But I had full stage 2 + ewg header injectors etc etc. I was like 350whp 420wtq so it is too much power for those pistons. And also the tune was a little to aggressive.

Thanks for reply, I am looking into getting a 2012 STi and was just curious what caused that failure. Car looks great looking forward to seeing it finished.

BTW, found out I cracked 2 ring lands. Pistons 2 & 4. Compression was still good on piston 2 but it was clearly cracked once it was taken out. So just goes to show, just bc you got good compression, doesn't mean its not a cracked ring land. lol

Great car btw.
