Yes, but heads can be done at any time. Should I do em now and spend the money now and go broke or save up and do it later so when I do it later I have more money for other goodies. Ooowwww decisions decisions. Prob gunna just do it now though.

Motors out. Pistons are completely destroyed. It's compressed and the rings are squashed. Also, the tops are completey chewed up from metal shavings that were everywhere. :/ Block was sent out to be bored again. Who knowns when it will be back together. Also, checking all the valves and the rest of the head.

Got word today that my heads are f**ked up too (valves). So I'll be building the heads. Including porting, valves, springs, and a nice cam

Little update:

Motor was sent out to get bored out.

Heads where sent to Headgames to get done. (valves, springs, retainers, locks, port & polish, cams).

Cams are on back order until last week of January.

Pistons are in. Changed to Wiseco. Manley sent me a check for a couple hundred dollars towards new pistons.

Clutch was sent to ACT to see about warranty. Hopefully they cover it or give me credit or something.

Sticking with the Dom 4.0XTR. Going to see what it can do with the heads worked, so I can rev it to 8500rpms. Should be able to hold boost from 4500-8500. That'd be real nice! Sticking with this fuel setup for now and most likely changing it for spring race season (bigger injectors, fuel rails, fuel reg, bigger pump, etc.). So we can do an E85 tune.

Hopefully the car is done by the first week of February!

Well I'm not really paying for the second rebuild. My shop took a lot of responsibility and did the right thing for me, that's why I'm going back to them. I'm paying for the heads to be built and $250 for new pistons since Manley sent me a check for $250. And then I'm paying for gaskets and what not. I'll pm you some prices that you should set though.
