So I'm thinking about getting some front and rear sway bars here soon. Any suggestions on sizes?

I have a 20 or 22 up front and a 22/24 adj. In back and am pretty happy with them. Are you still on stock wrx ones?

Run both F&R 24mm adj. Whitelines.
Better than stock, but never felt like the GD's really get good until you get really big ones (which can get impractical). I guess I just don't like how much body roll they have compared to other cars.

I want very little roll if any, if possible and I want it to turn better than an Evo. I am determined to beat my buddy in his Evo in auto x this year.

In that case you need better spool or lower torque, a much shorter steering rack, and depending on his suspension, probably some sways/struts/coils of your own (i don't know what you run now).
That's one of the things i do like waaay better about the Evo 7/8/9's is the steering rack. Amazing.

I'm already on coils. He didn't beat me by much last year so I'm hoping to eliminate some of the under steer so I can get closer to him and hopefully beat him.

Definitely match f&r. You'll understeer as long as the front is bigger than the rear. 24/24 is a good suggestion.

If you match sizes make sure they are adjustable. A larger rear bar, or a equal size bar on a higher setting in the rear, will help with rotation. Unfortunately if you go to stiff a bar with a high spring rate coilover you will pick up a rear tire on corners and lose speed. It's a delicate balance between to tight and to soft.

or perhaps since you already have a 20mm front, upgrade just the rear if you want better rotation and see how you like it. really, a lot of getting the right match of sways i just changing and adjusting and feeling out the car to see if you like the results. Thankfully, oem and aftermarket sways are widely/cheaply avail 2nd hand, and easy to swap out.

Also, you have coilovers already (no clue how quality they are), you should have the capability to stiffen the car quite a bit as is. There are auto-x'ers/trackers out there in various cars that resort to not-upgrading, or even removing, their sways and relying on their upgraded suspension to do the job.

So if I just do the rear, how big should I go?

You should be a 20mm now? (or do you have the 17, I can't remember when they switched, late 02, or 03...)
I would think going to a 24mm adj and starting off at the lowest setting, to see how ya like it. Then later if you move to a 22 or 24mm front, it will still be fairly biased. Try looking here and elsewhere for used ones, lots of people sell them when they trade in, since they're easy to remove.

I traded the STI. Bought a Titan and I'm getting a CBR 1000RR when a good one pops up on KSL or locally. It was either the STI, or a truck and bike. And I <3 me some motorcycles!

I think I managed to snag one of the two clean, low mileage relatively unmolested Spec.B's in the northwest. It's an '07, got a nice lump of cash back trading in the STI that we'll plunk down to pay off the 'stang that much sooner. As near a I can tell it just has an SPT catback and intake. 43k miles. Stock downpipe, but I understand the one I kept from the '11 will fit nicely.

I'm liking this car, I could see myself owning this one for quite a while (but I always say that). Doors have a strange substantial feel when you close them (in that they have some...substance that is) and the cabin is relatively silent.

Looks great! grats!!

Might want to look into losing the bug deflector though. I've read that it can reduce the airflow to the hood scoop, at least on the WRXs, not sure about the LGTs.

I imagine it's worse for LGTs, with the smaller hood scoop. Congrats DeathToad!

Thanks all.

Good idea on ditching the deflector... was going to ditch it anyway 'cause they look hokey, but that's an even better reason.
