Since its all exhaust parts, theres lots of care and precaution and pB blaster needed, to avoid rounding off/stripping out stuff. However, there's really not that much to dissassemble. The up-pipe replacement should Be pretty well documented, and can be done with basic tools in an afternoon.

On a side note, I have some new toys... 4 of em.

Freshly painted n shod with rubber.
And like most kids that get a present, it immediately stopped working...
(no fuel. cranking, but no start)

Inlet wasn't too bad. No worse than an uppipe or turbo swap.

I plan on going with the perrin one.... claims I don't need to remove the intake manifold so should be a lot faster. We'll see

We used the AMS one and didn't need to remove the intake manifold. As long as you don't choose a hard inlet you should be okay.
Is your current inlet torn? What is the reason for replacing? As far as cost/trouble/benefit turbo inlet is waaaay down the list. We replaced ours because it was torn.

I will by June have
TBE
intake
EBCS
Headers
Uppipe
TMIC
Recirc Bov
Shocks
Sways
Endlinks
Short shifter
wheels/tires
Possibly brakes

I figured Turbo inlet would be cheap and easier when doing headers/uppipe

So, something funny has happened. Between the body color trim and grille, the premium front bumper, STi spoiler, and '11 WRX wheels, now no one can figure out what year my car is. I think it's pretty hilarious...

Close if you have a reason to travel to and from But yes 3 hours isn't far at all.

Since your tire rack in your garage is now overflowing Neko, I think you should sell me your STI's BBS rims errr wait, is it a 2004? or the later 5x114

Not too overflowing anymore, just sold 4wheels, working on selling another set.
They're 5x100. It's an 04. But if I sell them to you, what will I do for winter wheels?
