Didn't realize this was a newer WRX, don't think the shrouds will fit.

Also anyone on here ever use or had opti-coat (like Cquarts) put on their cars? any detail shops in town worth going to? I remember Jake's experience with Royal so they're out.

Opti coat is easy to apply, you could do it yourself.

Where are you getting your BRZ from?

I'll have to check IDS soon then.

Wayne the problem is I have no experience with a polisher or buffer.

I can wash and clay and looks like by the videos apply the coat but I want it done really well since its pretty well permanent

I've seen people apply Opticoat by hand. It's self-leveling so its not a huge deal as long as you don't apply it to thick. If you put to much on you can wipe it off as long as you catch it quickly. It goes on so thin (it's only about 2 microns thick) that you really don't need to apply very much. One tube can do a few cars.

To sell stuff sure but nearly everyone besides our group here is in Boise... might as well hang with the salt lake guys as they are closer.

I wanna say i think these cars are more suby engineering n design than toyota at all. But hey, its the badge on the front that counts. (..and since FRS's are uglier.... )

These days I have more Yota than Suby. (Tho i've still owned 8 Imprezas vs 7 MR2's)
Not sure where Wayne is on that anymore, he bounces back n forth too...

As far as CitD? I refuse to go to car shows that cost money to enter, even the ones that say their for a good cause (usually plenty of people get their hands in the pot at things like that, before any good gets done). I don't wanna pay to have people look at my car, nor would i want anyone to pay to see it. Nothing i have is that special. Actually, i think charging the public to see the show irks me more.
Much happier goin to free shows like Tautphaus park, etc.

Chrome in the dome sucked. A 300zx and the silver STi from Blackfoot (that still has the gay carbon hood!!!) were the the only imports at the show.
