Hmmmm... I'm glad to hear it is actually black. I was scared I might have become color blind and it might have been blue or purple.

I'm finally trading in my car. I figured I would get a decent daily driver that is cheaper and will be paid off very soon. I found a 04 BMW 325 xi sedan with 83xxx miles. It's a one owner car and is in very good condition and it's a manual 5sp. Now the plan is to pay it off and then keep an eye out for an 08 M3 or a 07 M5. The WRX is a great car and I will always have a soft spot for them. I will have parts for sale soon. I sent Sues Roos some pms about getting my car back to stock so I'm anxiously waiting for his reply.

The rest of us always knew they weren't as good as the GC's and GD's. The wagons look ok, but I mean who wants a corolla with a hood scoop...

Like I can give crap to anyone selling...
(well, trading for a BMW tho? I mean whoa there...)

I put some things up for sale: stock 09 WRX shifter, 09 floor mats that are like new(used for 1 day), low beam screw on bulb covers(brand new). The good stuff should be for sale this week sometime(Perrin dp, Cobb AP with all the maps I purchased, Cobb heat shield, Perrin intercooler).

Best thing i can think of Dan-O, would be to look for a cheap set of used or new headers (either the full block>catback type like OBX, or the two piece, header>cat+cat delete pipe style), and then just fab up an intake that works with whatever setup you have (diff based on whether you're MAF or MAP). Lastly, depending on the year of your car (are you 98? or 99?), maybe a reflash.
That's about the cheapest, easiest power you can get from an SF.

Susp wise, you can just use common impreza parts right? Some GC, some GD. Something fits somewhere for just about every susp part.

You get your clutch/FW?

Dual filters or Fuel filters?
(i'll assume you mean the dual air filters.)

Yes, why did they use both the fender-side location box and the top-throttle-body location box as well, i have no clue. keep the top one tho, its been proven to add torque and not be restrictive at all. even when people install a filter on a pipe over in the fender area or actually down in the fender, the trick is to retain st least the empty filter box up top. If you look at the later ones, you'll see they retain the top plenum even tho its no longer a filter box, and simply go with the fender box filter.

So should I pull the filter in the box by the throttle body?

Don't know that it would hurt or help either way. Extra filtration is always good, and air filters aren't big airflow interrupters. But on the other hand, know any other car with two? Me either. Could retain the upper one, and find a new pipe to remove the fender side airbox and move the inlet end into the fender (tho that's where it already feeds from). Biggest benefit might be from lost weight that way...
