I have a front plate on the work car but the green car and shelly's car haven't had a front plate ever. I have been stopped once for it by a state cop but never by local or county.

I'm not saying they didn't used to care; I'm saying it seems like they are going to care more from now on.

The only cars on the road who consistently pass me on any road(without corners) are trucks and SUV's.

Crazy loud exhaust with stacks going 50 on Yellowstone NP, but I've been pulled twice in the wrx for exhaust.

Apparently it's also OK to be 400yrs old and drive 55 on the freeway but 81 is dangerous.....

wow, you poky guys seem to have a lot of problems with the cops

I've never been ticketed up here, except the time i passed the cop doing 60 through Ucon (35 limit). There wasn't much i could say to that.

Hey what besides a helmet and a mostly intact car is required to autoX?

Does the helmet need to be Snell rated ?

Yes, afaik, snell 2005 or newer, either M or SA rated (or K i guess). Club will usually have a few helmets to borrow if you don't have one. Or borrow from someone you know that has a similar noggin to yours.
And the car just needs to be able to pass tech inspection (i.e. nothing falling apart or off, has seatbelts, battery tied down, no heavy stuff floating around inside, etc.) Before you race you can remove things like a spare/jack/floor mats, etc that aren't necessary but aren't part of the car.

Are you going to throw him in jail for enjoying some of the Devils water because that's a crime and that's whats wrong with America all of the liberal donkeys running through Congress acting like they own the place and taking away my social security checks that I've been paying for since I was thirteen and all of those conservative elephants trying to take control of my ovaries.

It's now official. I have spent to much time with my wife's family if I can understand that.

Original message from Dillon? I could read it too but it sounded like it should have been a quote from a movie or interview on TV...

For anyone going autocrossing this weekend, my buddy and I will be at center street Maverik at 7 leaving by 7:15. It's about an hour and 10 minute drive (according to google maps) and registration ends at 9:30. That leaves about an hour to pass tech and register. We are both preregistered so its not a big deal for us, but I figured that leaves others who want to caravan enough time to get everything ready

I'll probably leave my house around 7ish since I'm close to the interstate. Hopefully I can catch up.

I'll only be there Saturday. I don't want to drive back and forth both days.

I'll be there saturday and Sunday. $30 for both days seems pretty damn cheap.
