Wow I'm missing a lot. And hey no smack talking about the single life. Everyone was there at one point in time. But enough about that. What does everyone use to upload pics. Mainly this is to the people that can get there pics to show up on the mobile thread. I use photobucket currently and it never shows up on the mobile site, which that's what I use 99.9% of the time. I'm up for anything car related. I seem to not hear good things about IMS or that crowd. Never experienced it for myself tho.

Yep it's done well but I hate the image it give s us import drivers. IMS is bad I've been there for years and don't have issues with anyone but I'm a friendly guy. As far as pix I use photobucket and use IMG code, works great.

Sorry I don't conform to your guys' world view. I always have a blast with the Subie guys in Poky, and we always try and engage the new guys in conversation. Hell, even when I visited the Subie club in Houston, I fit in like I had been hanging out with them since the beginning. But when I was at Cars and Coffee, I was ignored. I didn't feel welcome, so I don't plan on going again. Pretty simple.

I agree Cars and Coffee is a hit or miss kind of thing. I went one week, and knew everyone there and it was great. I went a different week and was kinda akwarded out. another time I went, it was really chill and met a bunch new people.

All the meets I went to in IF I saw maybe 2 poki people so quit hating on those fellers :P Why the segregation?! Cant we all just get along Man alive SLC is chalked full of wrx/sti's! Pretty wild how many of them are driving around here.

On another note, I unpacked my front lip that I had painted last summer by a dude south of Idaho Falls. It was packed very carefully and put on my back seat with nothing else and now the paint is literally just peeling/flaking off of it..... >.< I will have to upload pics so you can see how bad the paint job was, it is quite obvious he used no primer and the paint didn't stick well to the poly urethane..... very frustrating, if anyone knows who I am talking about I would like to call him, just forget who recommended him and what his name/number was. I think Dano, you know him?

Yeah, all in all IMS can be a different crowd of people. Which is why I'm part of both I guess, even tho I'd rather be around level headed folks than the wild folks, either way. That and sorry, never gonna make a sat night on my schedule (up for work @ 3am Sunday).
Oh well, not everyone blends well everywhere. I'm all for picking a date for more suby-specific fun, but I need ideas. Anyone wanna show in Blackfoot for a get together at Tommy Vaughans (but not necessarily a scca meet), or Rupe's? That should be a good gathering for all E.I....

Hehe, never. Not a bit fan of them, personally. Still struggling with whether to even add my gc WRX trunk badge...

Ben, it sounds like they didnt use a good flexible primer on it. Mine was painted by my wife and the paint's held on well (except where i scraped it the first day I had it ), used SEM flex-primer, and PSM mixed by a paint shop, which was close, but not perfect. Gonna shoot it again, but with rustoleum silver and see if I get a better match.
Is it a v2 STi one, by chance?

I like most cars, and can talk about anything so branching out is fun to me.

I could very easily bought a different car and may add something in the future but I think it'll have two wheels vice 4.

Finally getting busy at work again so I can maybe finish my plans for the Rex

LUCIO!(is that how you even spell your name? haha) I didn't know there was one! Where and when? I will be there.

Hmm Brian petty doesn't ring a bell, dustin maybe? Rattle can might salvage it, I will post some pics. Just frustrated because I chose him because he said he would do a quality job and I paid him well for it and then the paint just peals right off >.<

After seeing the IMS attitude toward new members on their boards I really don't want to have anything to do with what seems to be the core IMS community. Sure there are some people who seemed pretty chill on there, but the majority of the community seem to have true loathing for anyone new.

I would be up for a Blackfoot Mid-Way meet. Rupes is a nice local spot, or Mr Pizza if you want a local pizza joint. I should have the LGT back on the ground soon.

The majority of bashers are in Boise the EI crowd I feel is pretty welcoming if anything they get shy around new people until Shane or Easy discuss the properties of poop (happen more than you'd like)

Anyways who plans on auto xing this year and if so are you planing on running in your normal class, the popular IMS class, or is there enough of you who would like a custom Subaru only class?

Blackfoot would be good. My wife and baby usually come along with me whenever I get to go.
