I was coasting down the hill from I-86 to where you go up just after pocatello creek where cops always sit... 66/67 Max. My car is not loud unless your on it or first started.....

I've been on it hard by cops and nothing. Plenty of Harley civic Dodge diesel ass hats to pull over for obvious modified exhausts

State troopers try to give tickets on legal cars Boise ims had a big post about it and a modified exhaust with cats and resinator is legal, they try to say " if it's not stock it's illegal"

^ true story any modifactions is against the law. Unless replacing with with another oem spec exhaust, due to it being faulty. I think it's under 49-937.

Tampering or removing full functioning federal emission systems (exhaust, canisters, egr systems, etc) in a vehicle is illegal by letter of the law.

I posted a WTB ad for a stock WRX lugnut. Anyone have one laying around? Good ol Big O sheered off the lugnut and wheel stud when I was getting some tires swapped out. They replaced everything for free but the new lugnut doesn't match and I really don't want to deal with them again on this issue. I hate impact guns. Thanks if you can help.

Lug nuts couldn't be too expensive from the dealership if nobody has extra on hand.

Thanks for the link Neko. I ended up getting 2010 GR from a dealer in Bountiful. Sweet looking red, 38k miles, BBS rims, SPT boost guage and short shifter. Love the short shifts, feels like 1 inch throws compared to the stock Mustang shifter. But jeeebus, the gear whine out of it is ridiculous....that will have to addressed even if I have to swap for a stock shifter. It had Blizzaks on it but they finagled a dealer rate for some somewhat decent summer tires from a shop down the road, but I'll be set come winter too, which was a big reason I decided to get another Subie. Sounds like stock exhaust but not sure. There's also a Perrin intake pipe next to the airbox, but that looks stock still.

Had a freak thing happen on the way home, after accelerating back onto I-15 after a pit stop it flashed an error and dropped out of S# mode and cruise wouldn't work the rest of the way home. After a bit of searching on here it sounds fairly common, possibly a wastegate issue. Looks like I'll just HAVE to get one of those Cobb AP things to help diagnose it, right honey?

mmmmmm pretty! I love me dem GR sti's, they definitely grew on me and I can't wait to get one.....someday ha. And correct me if I am wrong but nothing "perrin" comes stock on STI's. Unless its just a stock sized perrin intake pipe? which could hint to previous modding or maybe the previous owner just wanted a perrin pipe :P. Any who loving the red! Congrats on your new buy.

Oh, I meant it had the stock airbox next to the Perrin pipe. Thanks though! Guess I'd better get under it and see if there are any other mods.

I know a good tuner in bountiful... might drop by and ask a few questions of him.

I'll be going down in a couple weeks to have mine tuned again with new parts.

Did you get a cel?

Willing to bet it's a P0244 code for overboosting. Wonder what tune it's got on it.

Hope it's not a serious issue. Did the car come with a warranty? Did you get it from a Subaru dealer?

That code doesn't go away without resetting the ecu so I doubt its that

the CEL will be shut off if the problem doesn't persist after like 10+ start ups. So then the light will go away , and the code is stored In the memory and not in the temporary
