Neko does have quite the collection...and the wifey thought we were crazy for having four vehicles at once. Trying to get down to three though...I got frustrated with the lack of action selling the hardtop 5.0 so we traded it in on an '11 Sti Limited sedan in cherry shape, just over 10k miles. Figure it will be easier to sell an STi around here now that summer's half over...The outfit in Rexburg where I got it might consign the '10 for us.

Decided I liked the sedan look better. Still torn on the wing...planned on ditching it, but didn't realize Plasma Blue Pearl is an STi color only, so can't just straight-swap with a WRX owner. It might grow on me. Has SPT exhaust which sounds sweeet to me. Just enough baritone boxer growl without being obnoxiously loud. The Plasma Blue looks purple from some angles.

Driving down the road and I noticed my engine temperature was rapidly rising. Pulled over and there is a crack in my radiator. Any recommendations on a replacement radiator?

All alum, 2" eBay knockoff rads are like $100shpd. Work great.
Most recognizeable brands selling an alum aftermarket rad for wrx's are all the same unit, just at a higher price. Only a few rad that actually are better, like a $300-ish koyo R-model.
Just make sure that you get the right model for yours (whether it had the cap on It or not, like the current one.) keeps the install simpler. And remember to retain the proper, staggered-pressure cap setup...

Ya, ebay ones work perfectly fine. I have one in mine. No problems so far. Also, make sure you don't get one that's too thick, or you'll be fighting the radiator hoses and cooling fans... Meaning you'll have to do some trimming so it all fits right.

I am not a big fan of the Evora. I wouldn't kick one out of the garage, but it is not in my top 5 cars. Red Lodge trip is this weekend, anyone besides Neko going this year?

Know what is (much) cheaper, roomier, and quicker than a STi wagon? 05 Legacy GT.

Who's talking about Evora's in here...?

And no, unless Casey can make it, it'll be my Dad and his GF, and me and the wife.

Meh... look the same to me. Either way they probably just swap right on anyway. Same engine, same HP, etc etc. I'd take an 08+ wagon if i had to go to a newer STi, but i think i'll go backwards before i'd do that (already had a GG wagon, its time for a GF some day. Thinking like 207 w/ newer 6spd r160 driveline for lightness? or perhaps even a 2.5L high-comp turbo setup. I want a wagon that weighs 2500lbs or less...)
