Something unplugged? I'd ask if it's throwing any engine codes, but does the lift work for sure in your cluster? (does it light up during ignition?)
I can help ya check codes on an obd1 like yours if it is throwing any.
I also can't remember which boost selenoid you use....
Drop by some afternoon, we'll check it out...

If anyone needs a wiring harness for a stereo head unit (especially 3gs), go here-

http://ae64.com

Sent him an email late this afternoon, and he's already processed the order. Decent prices, excellent service, and you're helping out a guy doing good for the Subie community.

Still got ACT clutch/PP/flywheel, and also realized I still have the 5-door cargo floor protector for any Impreza model if anyone's interested.

Posted this on IDS...

Alright guys. Tomorrow at 5 I'm doing my Eagle Project, and would love some help

basically we are meeting at the Pocatello Charter School on Arthur at 5pm. I'll be providing sunblock, PIZZA, and water. It's a simple project, just pulling a few weeds. If you have a weedwacker, bring it! If not gloves might help but aren't required, they aren't thorny weeds or anything. Maybe a shovel and a rake too if you want

again... FREE PIZZA!!

If you can only show up for like 10 minutes, that's totally fine! I plan to be there from 5-7:30, but I may stay later to finish it up if it's close to being done. If we don't finish, I'll continue on Monday.

Thanks guys

Ps..... FREE PIZZA!

Also, maybe if we get enough people to come out, we could go somewhere after and install Jake's shifter? Just a thought

Hope to see a few people out there

I remember doing that on our 08 Impreza. Even with low miles, it was pretty yuck. I have a new one for the LGT in the garage ready to go in before sale. Just need to have time to do it!

That's crazy. You'd think they'd ship it down for ya for free in a day. There isn't a cheap local place to rebuild one? (or you're missing one altogether?)

Ick. Better than some Yukon or suburban tho...
How much room you guys need? (or does she like "big, safe" cars?)
What about a nice legacy wagon? Or gen2 TriBeCa? (even offers 3rd row)

Big SUVs are no fun if you have a low car like a legacy wagon t-bone you. You end up either on your side or upside down.

Should have gone for milk n come back with a BRZ... (if you can find a manual one that is..)

I used to have a spare compressor, gave it away with the WRX. But what is yours doing exactly? i've never seen one fail really. Making scraping noises? Clicking on and off?

It's tryin to seize up. Can't spin the thingy that's on the front of the compressor, (its supposed to spin pretty easy right?) Makes a scraping screeching noise.

Well the center will spin the innerds, the out ring spins freely (until the elec clutch clamps em together). I've heard of people getting dust/dirt into the pulley and it making a screeching noise till they spray it out with compressed air n everything works normally. not sure on what all's involved in taking the pulley apart to clean/inspect it.
The upside is if you do everything you can before replacing the compressor, you don't have to pay to recharge your system. The only other thing i can think of that would drag on a compressor is too much oil in the system, but thats also a disconnect/refill requirement. nor do i think it would make a noise like that..
