Don't forget to preregister for 3/25! After Wednesday (3/21), there will be a $10 late fee.

Just signed up! I haven't done an AI event since Ripken Stadium.

Just in case anyone was looking for the schedule or registration links via the WDCR webpage... it was brought to AI's attention this afternoon that none of the AI events are showing up on the WDCR page (neither the main page nor the autocross page). I'm not sure what happened, since they were there, at least when I first added the events to DLB, but in the meantime, use this link to register for 3/25. Thanks!

Still spots open for 6/16 -- a Saturday "double" event. There will be one course in the morning and a second course in the afternoon. Your best time from each course will be used to determine finishing position.

Due to the format, the event is limited to 80 drivers. Lunch is included in the entry fee.

Does AI enforce noise restrictions? Will I be sent home for having an EWG?

We don't have a dB meter, but if it's obnoxiously loud, we do exercise the right to say, "no." With a lot of new homes in the area, we don't really want to lose the site.

Don't delay if you're going to register for Saturday's event! There is a $10 late registration fee for all entries received after midnight on Wednesday, August 8. Cancellations must be received prior to midnight on Tuesday, August 7 to qualify for a refund. On-site registration is only on a space available basis and will also include the $10 late registration fee.

Registration is available on-line through DLB Racing:

Two quick questions:
1. How many runs do we get?
2. Roughly what time will this event wrap-up?

Generally, AI does 4 runs. If the turn out remains light, that might be bumped to 5. And from my understanding (I haven't been to a local event yet this year), the previous "regular" events have finished up between 3-4PM. Again, if the turn out is light, this could be even earlier.

Also, just received word that the late fee will be waived for online registrations for 8/11, but you still have to register before midnight on 8/9 in order to register online. If you do walk-up registration, the $10 late fee will still be in effect.

Registration is open for 9/16, which is a "double" event. For those unfamiliar with the setup, you'll have 3-4 runs on the "morning course" and then the course is modified. You'll have another 3-4 runs on the "afternoon course," and your place in class is determined by adding together your best morning run with your best afternoon run. It's like a mini-National Tour!

Because of the event setup, the entry cap is set at 80 drivers, and your entry fee includes lunch.

If you missed the last event, MAIC's very own ButtDyno took Fast PAX and FTD!

If you have any questions, just ask!

Registration is open for the last Autocrossers, Inc. event of the season. This is a "regular" event (4 runs minimum, 120 entries max), on Sunday, October 14th at Waldorf's Regency Furniture Blue Crabs Stadium.

The last event filled up and so walkups weren't allowed. Keep that in mind if you wait until the last second to register!

Bump. If you've been waiting to try out autocross, this is a perfect event to do it! Very relaxed and instructors available.
