Default Couple of Maintenance questions not covered by a manifesto :/

OK... .New to the subaru, only had it for a year here. 60K is about to roll around and i am looking at doing it myself. I can not find a solid answer on my fuel filter. I understand now that it is in the fuel tank.... so seems like it would be a PITA to change. I just read that it is incorporated into the fuel pump also. if it is a part of the fuel pump, i wana just upgrade it for future mods anyway. Is that the route to go.

No for the embarrassing question..... Are there spark plug wires for my car? Or are they just coil packs? :?/ uughhh...

You did not read the Maintenance FAQ as it talks about fuel filters. There is no solid answer.

No wires and NO NEED to worry about them or coilpacks as you could install ones made by Jesus and you'd net 0HP and 0TQ so doing so would be super silly.

Problem is: I did read the maintenance FAQ and there was no solid answer there on the fuel filter. My revised question: Is the filter now incorperated into the fuel pump, and if it is, would it be better just to upgrade the pump now for possible fuel rail/ injector mods.

Thank you for the wires answer though. Ill just replace the plugs themselvs.
