Default Equal Length Header Sound Thread

The other threads that I could find like this were out-dated, so I decided to start a new one. I want to create a thread where people can post their EL header setups with sound clips, so anyone trying to make the decision to move to EL headers can take a listen.

leach that's a pretty good sound. I'm kinda surprised. I've been thinking about switching from UEL to EL and I've been leary due to assumed sound loss. I do quite love the sound of my GT-Spec UEL headers with the GReddy Ti-C catback.

I have no idea what EL headers I have as they came on the car and can't seem to find any markings. I have full cobb besides that. I'll try to get some sound clips. I honestly don't miss the suby rumble like I thought I would.

I will say I do not like the sound of the killerb headers. I'm sure they perform well but they sound like a honda.

They sounded kind of quiet. If that's what you're going for (among other things) I'm sure it's a great choice.

I don't know, KoP, I think I'd really miss it.

Spec-C Type RA In-Car Video. The blue STI in front is also JDM. They both have the stock twin scroll turbo and EL headers set up.

I'm liking the EL sound more an more. I just sent a set of Invidia EL headers to Swain Tech a few weeks ago and am excited to get them on the car.

I remember back when I got mine, they were still a mystery in terms of performance and you were questioned for doing away with boxer rumble but if it was good enough for WRC it was good enough for me!

BPM Equal Length Headers, HKS Carbon Ti, Custom GT3076R setup. Trust Wastegate plumbed back into exhaust, with cats and a resonator.

Thanks, its a mix of parts really, the dump is custom, the middle is turboxs and the muffler is Hitech. The headers are JDM twinscroll.
