Default New paint: how long to wait to apply 3m weather stripping?

Over the winter, I nailed a loose semi tire rolling around on the Mass Pike at night, and I'll be painting a new front bumper in the next couple weeks as the result

I'm no paint expert, so do any detail gurus have a recommendation on how long to wait following painting to apply 3m tape I'll be using as a component of my lip/splitter assembly? I'm sure the rule is similar to waiting to wax, although I'd like to hear from experience.

Wait 90 days before any silicone wax, and you should be good applying a double sided tape after a few days of curing (if you prepped it well).

Just what I was hoping to hear! I'll give it some extra time to cure for good measure, I'll be in no rush. None of the tape itself will be load bearing but just to seal the gaps between the cover and lip.
