Default STi Gauge Cluster wont stay at idle

I have a JDM Sti Cluster that wont stay at idle. I was cleaning the plastic lenz and some how it is going to 3000rpm at idle and the shift light just flashes. The speedo tops out while im driving.

Can someone point me in the right direction of fixing this problem.

Thanks

You don't have to have a different speed sensor, they read the same.
